Law enforcement officials in Longmont, Colorado, have released new information on the woman who attacked a seven months pregnant mother. Dynel Lane lured her victim, Michelle Wilkins, to a vacant home through a Craigslist ad for baby clothing for sale. It was there that she attacked Wilkins, beating her and then using a kitchen knife and broken glass to cut the fetus out of her body. According to the New York Daily News, court records called her grisly act “a well-performed operation” by the former certified nurse’s aide.

Lane has been charged with eight felonies, including attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful termination of pregnancy. If convicted on all counts, Lane faces 100 years in prison.
