Over the weekend the Johnson children from ABC’s comedy “black-ish” kicked off their summer break together at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida following the wrap of the show’s first season and sweeping the 2015 NAACP Image Awards’ television comedy categories, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, which went to Yara Shahidi.
They have so many reasons to celebrate. The season’s No. 1 new comedy among adults 18-49, “black-ish” co-stars Yara Shahidi (Zoey Johnson), Marcus Scribner (Andre Johnson Jr.), Miles Brown (Jack Johnson), and Marsai Martin (Diane Johnson) received a personal welcome from Mickey and Minnie Mouse, rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom, previewed the the live Frozen Summer Fun experience with princesses Anna and Elsa at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and so much more. What’s even more cool about this “Coolest Summer Ever” celebration, their real-life parents were able to join the fun.
