Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss’ friendship has been strained throughout this season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” as Parks has claimed that Burruss hasn’t been supportive during her split from Apollo Nida. But now after some on-screen heart-to-hearts, Parks says that she and Burruss are on better terms now.
Parks addressed her friendship problems with Burruss in her latest Bravo blog post and she opened up about their candid conversation on Sunday night where they spoke for a second time about their rift and agreed, once again, to communicate more often with each other.
“I think the conversation with Kandi helped us get on the same page. I value friendships and know that all relationships require an investment of time, patience, and effective communication,” Parks said.
She also opened up about her decision to speak one-on-one with Kenya Moore about their longstanding feud.
“As a Christian, I believe in forgiveness and redemption. While Kenya and I have deep-rooted issues, I am finally at a place where I am willing to sit down with her and hear her out. The only way to describe our relationship is wounded. And everybody knows that wounds require air to heal. Hopefully, this conversation will serve as that air,” she explained.
After seeing the previews for Sunday night’s episode it seems like Parks and Moore are finally going stop beefing with each other long enough to forgive each other for the shade they’ve both thrown for the past few years.
