Over the weekend, ladies throughout metro Atlanta converged at the Aloft Hotel in Atlanta for the Spring edition of “GirlPower Sleepover,” hosted by Sabrina Peterson, founder of Glam University. The “Girl-Power SleepOver” is a unique, business bootcamp-style sleepover that featured one-on-one experiential learning workshops led by 25 successful businesswomen from various industries and a power hour with branding mogul Munson Steed (CEO, Steed Media Group).
Business experts, including Stormy Wellington, MLM strategist and millionaire business coach; Tionna Smalls, author, life coach, VH1’s “What Chilli Wants”; Dana Chanel, CEO of Sprinkle of Jesus; Mia Ray, fashion and lifestyle blogger; Chanita Foster, CEO of Kandi Burruss Cares Foundation; Tameka Raymond, celebrity fashion stylist; and Dr.Jackie Walters, owner of CW OB/GYN were also on deck offering insight to finding success.
During the star-studded event attendees learned the fundamental skills and strategies to transform their business ideas into established brands that will fuel the economy and propel the community. For example, Sabrina Peterson, founder of Glam University, will be launching her new online portal www.MommyAndMogul.com on May 1, 2015, to serve as a destination site for mothers in business.
