Momma Dee’s family dinner falls apart
At the top of the episode, Momma Dee calls her entire family together, as well as Ernest and his mother, for a family dinner to hash out their issues. Dee and Earnest explain that they love each other and that they want to get married again. However, Ernest’s mother explains to Dee how hurt she was when she sent her son to prison. Dee apologizes and Mama Bryant says she’s learned to forgive Dee. However, she explains that she doesn’t agree with Ernest’s union with her. Dee’s daughter, Jasmine, also says she doesn’t agree with the union and she tells Ernest that he’s an opportunist. Dee quickly gets upset and Scrappy has to hold her back from attacking Jasmine. Clearly the family is still divided but Dee and Ernest still plan to remarry.
