Ernest proposes to Momma Dee
Ernest knows that his promise ring proposal was a dud in Momma Dee’s eyes; so he decides to up the ante and take her to church for the surprise of her life. After the pastor gives a surmon about finding love, Ernest stands up in front of the church and explains that he’s finally ready to love Dee the way she deserves to be loved. He then calls her up to the front of the church with him and proposes with a better ring than before. Dee is thrilled and says yes. Then she takes a moment to plug her single with a performance of “I Deserve” with the church choir backing her.
