Now that Karrueche Tran has broken up with Chris Brown and started pulling herself out of his shadow, fans have begun to learn that the young woman might be more than just a Hollywood girlfriend. In fact, it seems like Tran’s history is more interesting than anyone ever thought, especially since she recently revealed that her father is gay.
Tran made the surprising revelation in a new interview with MadameNoire.com in which she was asked to reveal something about herself that fans didn’t know.
“I don’t think I’ve ever told anybody this, but my father is gay. Yeah, and I think I’ve never told anybody just because I don’t realize that’s not necessarily normal. I live my life as me so it’s just like that’s my dad. When I tell people sometimes they’re like really? And he’s not like how Caitlyn Jenner is transgender. It’s not like that. He is himself, but he is homosexual. I knew from middle school something was different. I don’t know how I even knew what gay was. As I grew older, we had certain talks. It is just what it was,” Tran said.
Well, that’s definitely a tidbit of info that we never would’ve guessed about Tran, but we’re glad she’s sharing such a great story with the rest of the world.
