When Diddy was first charged with assaulting his son Justin Combs’ UCLA coach Sal Alosi last week, fans were worried the hip-hop mogul could end up serving serious time over the infamous brawl. But as the scandal went on, news began circulating that UCLA coaches, as well as Diddy, who claimed he acted in self-defense, just wanted the scandal to end and be buried. Now, reports are showing that the district attorney in the case has decided to reject the felony charges against Diddy.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County D.A. decided to reject the case against Diddy in just a day because the felony charges were weak.
However, Diddy could still be facing charges because the case has been sent to the L.A. City Attorney, which could bring about misdemeanor charges against Diddy if it decides the case warrants prosecution.
According to sources, the L.A. City Attorney could make a decision as early as next week.
Well, we’ll have to wait and see how this plays out but it looks like Diddy will likely remain a free man and be done with this case once and for all in just a short while.
