New video and images of the recent South Carolina KKK Confederate flag rally show the violence was underreported by the mainstream media. The images from the rally show heated encounters with the KKK and counter protesters. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, South Carolina Highway patrol and local police definitely had their hands full when attempting to keep the protesters separated, who were clearly split along racial lines. From a gun being pulled on Black protesters by a KKK supporter to random fights and a crying Black 10-year old overwhelmed by the racial animosity, it was an ugly scene.
Law enforcement officers armed with assault rifles, both Black and White, escorted the KKK to the Statehouse grounds. The resulting encounters seemed to be a picture from another era as KKK members in uniform called Blacks every racial slur possible and tried to intimidate the counter protesters. however, they were unsuccessful as the Black youths were ready to fight.
