In 1995 all of America was shocked to see the Hon. Min. Louis Farrakhan organize and lead the peaceful Million Man March in Washington, DC. Now 20 years later, Min. Farrakhan is calling on Black people once again to join him for the Justice or Else march and rally on October 10, 2015 in Washington, DC.
The rally promises to be one of inspiration, reflection and a call to action in light of the deaths of unarmed Black men and women who have fallen to police violence and abuse in custody across the country. From the killing of unarmed Black teen Michael Brown to the recent cold blooded murder of Sam Dubose by a University of Cincinnati police officer, America’s ugly racism is once again showing itself.
It is in this charged racial atmosphere that Min. Farrakhan has placed himself and his message of action beyond forgiveness. Farrakhan recently stated, “These are not the times for weak people, for cowardly people. I need 10,000 fearless men, who say, ‘Death is sweeter than continued life under tyranny. Death is sweeter than to live and bury our children while White folks give the killer hamburgers. Retaliation is a prescription from God to calm the breast of those whose children have been enslaved. So, if the federal government will not intercede in our affairs, then we must rise up and kill those who kill us. Stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling!”
The upcoming Justice or Else rally promises to bring hard truths to the masses in this country who have witnessed the continued harassment and oppression of Black Americans.
