It looks like NBC has every intention on making their upcoming live reboot of The Wiz a completely star-studded affair.
Per a recent tweet by the network, the latest names added to the growing list of notables participating in the heavily anticipated live adaptation of the classic film are Hairspray actor Elijah Kelley, R&B star Ne-Yo, and Chicago rapper and actor Common.
Common is slated to star as the gatekeeper to Oz with Ne-Yo cast as the Tin-Man, and Kelley to fill the role of the Scarecrow. The three men join an already dream team cast featuring Queen Latifah (The Wiz), Mary J. Blige (Evillene), David Alan Grier (The Cowardly Lion), Stephanie Mills (Auntie Em), Uzo Aduba (Glinda), Amber Riley (Addaperle), and Shanice Williams (Dorothy).
The Wiz Live! will air on NBC on December 3.
