What inspired you to become a photographer?
My daughter inspired me… She became a worldclass model and I became a photographer to help her almost 20 years ago. For that, I remain grateful.
When did you realize that you had what it takes to be successful?
It was never about being successful; it’s about people appreciating your talent. I am an artist. Success comes in so many formats. That is why I simply stay focused on doing my best at all times.
You are known for shooting models. Who is a good client?
Most everyone is a good client, be it a model or anyone who is in need of good photographers…had just a few bad clients but overall most clients are good. Nevertheless, it is necessary to bring all of the appropriate items that we agreed upon in our consultation.
What is the most difficult part of being a photographer?
When clients expect more than what they’ve paid for. Most don’t understand that editing is an art and very time consuming and then it become a long explanation. Oftentimes, I have to really figure out what it is that the client really wants. It is then that we connect and create the best experience.
What makes your style of photography unique?
I don’t find my style of photography unique. I just try and do the best job I can do and hope that my clients are satisfied. Every person is unique.

Where do you see your photography in the next five years?
I am blessed to do what I love. So, I take one day at a time. I may wake up one day and say, “I’m done. But for now, I just keep it moving everyday. I will let tomorrow take care of itself.
