It’s been a little more than a week since Meek Mill waved the white flag and ended his short lived been with Drake. Now word is out that the Philly-bred emcee may have pulled the plug just in the nick of time and avoided a potential career ending third diss from the OVO leader.
According to an unnamed source close to the “Hotline Bling” rapper, there is definitely a third track for Meek in the vaults but Drake is more or less done with the situation and the track probably won’t ever see the light of day:
After a certain point you realize that it’s not worth it so at this moment that song is in the archives. I don’t know if it will ever be released but I don’t see him dropping that joint anytime soon and it’s very dope. I can confidently say that it would end Meek for good. There would be no coming back for him if this track had gotten out.
Though Drizzy may be over the whole ordeal and back to concentrating on completing his forthcoming album, Views From The 6, fans are still very much into both his tracks towards Meek as “Charged Up” and “Back To Back” are both currently in the mix on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
