Ne-Yo and his girlfriend, Crystal Renay, are definitely deserving of some major congratulations because it was recently announced that the couple is expecting their first child together.
Ne-Yo hinted at the news yesterday when he posted a photo of Renay holding a small maternity photo that the couple shot together, along with the caption “surprise.”
Renay then posted a larger photo on her own Instagram page, with a caption confirming that she is indeed pregnant.
However, the announcement wasn’t without controversy. And some fans criticized Ne-Yo over the news because of his failed relationship with Monyetta Shaw, the mother of his first two children. Apparently, Shaw, who was on “Hollywood Exes,” shared with viewers that she was heartbroken over the way her relationship with Ne-Yo ended. She also revealed that she underwent a procedure so that they wouldn’t have more kids together.
Fans bashed Ne-Yo for moving on and having a kid with Renay, but, according to TheJasmineBrand.com, he fired back at his critics with an Instagram comment.
