It took more than two theaters to accommodate the fans who came to Cinebistro at Dolphin Mall in Miami on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015 to catch the invitation-only screening of FOX’s “Rosewood.” Fans were on hand to get a peek at Morris Chestnut and his equally eye-catching co-stars Jaina Lee Ortiz, Gabrielle Dennis and Lorraine Toussaint.

Fans were treated to a sneak peek of the new season of “Empire”, “Scream Queens” and “Minority Report” and complementary giveaways for each of the dramas and the comedy/horror.

In “Rosewood,” Ortiz plays detective Annalise Villa who has an interesting chemistry with Dr. Beaumont Rosewood (played by Chestnut), Miami’s top private pathologist. Dennis plays his sister, Pippy, and Toussaint plays his mother, Donna.

The audience fell in love with the show. There were quite a few laugh-out-loud moments, specifically during the scene when Rosewood and a fierce detective Villa pair as partners in crime-solving for the first time.

“Rosewood” airs starting Sept. 23 on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
