Things have been pretty quiet for the last several weeks regarding Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson’s tumultuous divorce, but it looks like things are heating up in their courtroom battle, once again, as it’s been revealed that Griner recently kicked Johnson out of their Arizona home.
According to TMZ, court documents have revealed that the judge in the divorce battle awarded Griner temporary exclusive use of the home while the couple works on finalizing their divorce.
Johnson, who is pregnant with twins, reportedly has to vacate the home immediately and won’t be allowed to come back until a scheduled date. Adding insult to injury for Johnson is that she’ll reportedly be accompanied by a police officer to ensure that nothing gets out of line. Johnson also will only have 20 minutes to retrieve her belongings before she, once again, has to vacate the premises.
This is just the latest development in a grueling divorce battle for Griner and Johnson, who splti up just 28 days after getting married following a domestic violence incident that ended in both of them being arrested.
Since then, both women have taken losses in court with Griner being denied her request to annul the marriage and Johnson being denied her request to get $20,000 a month in spousal support from Griner.
Although Johnson is pregnant, the exes are also at war over Griner’s potential role as a parent. Johnson claims that she and Griner planned the twins together and that Griner has a financial responsibility to the babies. However, Griner has claimed that she has no biological connection to the babies and it’s unclear whether she plans to have a role in the kids’ lives.
