The increasingly messy Lil Wayne vs. Cash Money saga has taken yet another dramatic turn.

News broke Oct. 5 that Wayne has filed a grievance against his estranged label home with claims that the Louisiana-based label has not only been stealing money from him, but also his Young Money artists Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga.

Per TMZ: “Lil Wayne now claims in his bitter lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money, he has letters from Drake and Tyga’s people claiming they got stiffed out of a fortune. And Nicki’s people say in a separate letter her producers also got shortchanged by Young Money, and Wayne says it’s Cash Money’s responsibility to pay producers.”

Since publicly demanding to be let go from the label late last year, Wayne and Cash Money have engaged in a long and drawn out war of words and legal maneuvering that culminated with the April 2015 shooting of Wayne’s tour bus that many speculate may have involved Cash Money Records head Bryan “Baby” Williams.

Unfortunately for Cash Money, Wayne isnt the only person unhappy with their business practices.

The label is currently facing a slew of lawsuits for unpaid monies due, including pending litigation from former artist Turk, producer Bangladesh, and industry veterans Jas Prince and Wendy Day.
