Former NBA star Lamar Odom, 35, had a potentially deadly mix of sex and drugs that nearly cost him his life at the Nevada brothel, the Love Ranch. He engaged in sex party sessions with prostitutes Bunny Lain, Monica Monroe and Ryder Cherry.
They allegedly visited him six times during his four-day stay at the brothel and indulged in a drug and alcohol cocktail. He racked up a bill of $79,000 for the private suite.
One of three photos that have been leaked appeared on Daily Mail online, showing him sitting barefooted on a couch, looking drained and disheveled and others show him lying in bed either sleeping or unconscious. At his bedside on the nightstand are what appears to be sex toys, candles and lubricant and a copy of brothel owner Dennis Hof’s memoir, The Art of the Pimp.
Monroe and Cherry entered his room and found him unconscious at around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Odom has awakened from his three-day coma, is responding to treatment and has been reportedly moved to a Los Angeles hospital where estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, who filed for divorce in December 2013, is at his side. A judge has not yet signed off on the divorce. Doctors believe Odom will have to learn to walk and talk again during a lengthy stint of rehabilitation expected to take many months. He is reportedly having conversations and sending text messages.
