The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, is arguably this year’s biggest breakout star, with two No. 1 singles, “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills” topping Billboard charts. He’s also the twelfth artist in history to score back to back number ones. So, it only makes sense that he would nab the recent cover story for Rolling Stone magazine.

In the pages of the iconic publication, the Toronto native (who we know very little about), got candid about sex, music, his budding relationship with model girlfriend Bella Hadid and the nightmare that was losing his virginity.

Covering the November issue alongside the headline “Sex, Drugs and R&B,” the 25-year-old offered up a deeper look into his mysterious mind. For 5 things we learned, hit the flip.
