It’s official! Halle Berry, 49, and Olivier Martinez are untying the knot.
“It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce,” the couple said in a joint statement to PEOPLE magazine. “We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life and we hope that you respect our and, most importantly, our children’s privacy as we go through this difficult period.”
This will mark Halle Berry’s third divorce, which puts her in the ranking with other celebs who have been divorced at least thrice: Chante Moore, Geena Davis, Tom Cruise, Drew Barrymore (third divorce pending), Christie Brinkley, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore, Charlie Sheen, Pamela Anderson, Billy Bob Thornton, Larry King and Liza Minelli.
