NeNe Leakes is returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
“RHOA” is currently filming a getaway to Jamaica for season eight, and Leakes will be making an appearance. But that’s not even the best part. The ladies have no idea she’s coming, reports E! News. Not to mention, the former “New Normal” star will be making an undetermined number of appearances in the new season. In other words, Leakes, who announced her exit just last year, just can’t get enough of the reality show that launched her to superstardom.
Of course, Leakes won’t be the only familiar face returning to season eight of the hit Bravo series. Former cast member Shereé Whitfield will also recur, alongside newcomer Shamea Morton. And don’t forget that Kim Fields has joined the main cast. Rounding out the newcomers are veterans Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams. Bravo sure has made up for Claudia Jordan’s exit.
Leakes’ return to “RHOA” isn’t the only project she’s working on, of course. Not only is she set to appear alongside living legend Betty White as a panelist in ABC’s upcoming revival of the classic game show “To Tell the Truth,” but it was recently announced that the 47-year-old is also making a return to Broadway in the Tony-winning revival of Chicago next month.
