A special pancake promotion led to fisticuffs at a Denny’s restaurant in Chicago. According to Chicago Tribune, the incident occurred at a Denny’s in the Oak Law section of Chicago.

Natasha West and her friends were looking to take advantage of Denny’s all-you-can eat pancakes for only $4. West ordered the pancakes, but her friends never placed an order. Instead, West began receiving pancakes and began sharing the food with her friend.

A waitress walked to West’s table and told her and her friends that she could not share her pancakes. West became irate and began arguing with the waitress. At some point, West began swinging her fists at the waitress, but she was unable to land a punch.

West and her friends dined and dashed. But before she exited the restaurant, she kicked the door. The managers at Denny’s called police and West and her friends were stopped shortly after.

The police took them back to the Denny’s where they were identified by the store’s managers. One of West’s friends paid the $4 bill, but she was arrested.

West was charged with assault and damage to property.
