“It’s hard out there for a pimp” especially when you’re in a wheelchair. Police arrested David Hope, 28, of the Bronx, NY for running a prostitution ring from his apartment. The disabled pimp used online ads to offer up the services of prostitutes and was busted this past Thursday.

Authorities state that Hope faces charges of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking of minors. Both of these charges can carry the penalty of life in prison. In addition, Hope was also charged with using interstate facilities and travel to promote a prostitution enterprise, and for possessing a firearm and ammo with a previous felony conviction. According to police, Hope was well known for carrying a fire arm as well as sleeping with his weapons. Federal authorities have accused Hope of running his prostitution ring since 2003.
