The Perfect Holiday (2007)
In this warm family comedy, Nancy (Gabrielle Union) is an overworked, divorced mother of three. When her daughter overhears her wishing for a compliment from a man, she informs the local mall’s Santa Clause, who happens to be a struggling songwriter. The man, Benjamin (Morris Chestnut), makes Nancy’s dreams come true, and the two eventually fall in love. But when her son becomes jealous of the relationship and Benjamin finds out who Nancy’s ex is, the characters go though a series of touching moments and discover the true meaning of “family.” Also starring Queen Latifah, Terrence Howard and Faizon Love, The Perfect Holiday has become a classic Christmas movie that audiences of all backgrounds enjoy.
