A man armed with heavy artillery wanted to break into the White House and kidnap President Barack Obama’s dogs. According to Washington Post, Scott Stockert drove his pick up truck from North Dakota to New York to Washington, D.C. with a slew of weapons.

Secret Service agents in Minnesota discovered from a tip that Stockert wanted to steal one of Obama’s Portuguese Water Dogs. When Stockert arrived in Washington, D.C., Secret Service agents surrounded his room at the Hampton Inn. The agents then began to search and his truck and found two 12-gauge shotguns, a bolt action rifle, 289 rounds of .22 caliber long-rifle bullets, 71 rounds of 12-gauge shotgun ammunition and two rounds of .223 rifle ammunition, plus a 12-inch machete.

When Secret Service agents arrested Stockert, he yelled, “I will f— your world up.” Stockert also said that he was the love child of John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe. He also said that was planning to run for president and had a healthcare plan that he wanted to present to Congress.

It’s apparent that Stockert suffers from mental issues, but it also strengthens Obama’s recent plan to combat gun violence. A person in Stockert’s mental state should never have been allowed to possess a weapon. But it’s too easy to obtain a gun in America.

For some reason, Stockert was released from jail. He is under heavy supervision and can’t possess or buy firearms or go near the White House.
