Angie Stone’s life was turned upside down last year when she was involved in a physical altercation with her adult daughter, Diamond, and was accused of knocking out her daughter’s two front teeth. After the fight, Stone’s fight with Diamond quickly faded out of the tabloids. But recently Stone appeared on the “Steve Harvery Show” and gave her side of the story on what happened during the fight.

As previously reported, the altercation happened at their Lithonia, Georgia, home after Stone scolded Diamond about cleaning up her room and looking after her kids. The argument led to a phsyical fight in which Stone allegedly knocked out Diamond’s teeth with a metal stand. Stone was arrested and booked on aggravated assault but was later released from jail on a $10K bond.

In her latest interview, Stone opens up about that night and denies that she knocked out her daughter’s teeth.

“No, I did not knock out my daughter’s teeth,” Stone said, adding that her teeth were already rotting when the fight occurred. “I think that, in her defense, I think the tooth probably fell out because one had fallen out a week prior to that tooth falling out. And when you have an altercation as such, you can bite down on your lip and when a tooth is already brittle and decaying, it’s coming out.”

Stone then confirmed the fight and explained her shame about having fought her own daughter.

“We were definitely in an altercation. It’s not that I’m proud of it. But you [are] not gonna fight me in my house. You [are] not gonna fight me, period. I am your mother, and that’s how that goes,” Stone said.

Well, the good news is that Diamond appeared on the show with Stone and the two appear to have made peace with each other.
