After three years of marriage, actress Tichina Arnold and her husband, Rico Hines, are calling it quits. But reports are claiming that the cause for the divorce isn’t the typical “irreconcilable differences” explanation. Reprotedly, it’s because of a wild sex scandal involving Hines.
Yesterday, reps for Arnold confirmed that she and Hines, who is an assistant coach at St. John’s University, are separating. Although the reps only hinted at a scandal at the heart of the breakup, other media reports are claiming that it’s because Arnold caught Hines cheating with other women.
Sources claim that Arnold discovered the infidelity after finding a sex tape of her husband sleeping with another woman. The sources say that Arnold then put Hines on blast by sending a mass text to her family and friends about the sex tape.
“It’s over between Rico and I. This is where I part ways and all bets are off,” Arnold allegedly wrote in the text.
The sources say Arnold then took it a step further and told her loved ones that Hines has cheated on her throughout their marriage with over 20 different women, whom she dubbed “extraneous Kim Kardashian wannabes.” Arnold also allegedly claimed Hines slept with some of the women on camera without protection.
“I can’t for the life of me understand why Rico would video himself f—ing ‘raw dog’ ONE of his MANY extraneous w—-s that trick’ on him for his money,” she allegedly said in one of her messages, along with the sex tape video.
Sources say that Arnold plans to get tested for STDs, while a rep for Hines said, “This is a private and deeply personal matter between my wife and me, and I do not want to comment any further at this time.”
