It’s been something of a rough few months for The Game.
Already having dealt with a case for assaulting an off-duty officer, and another lawsuit for supposedly skipping out on a performance after being paid for it, the 36-year-old Compton rapper now finds himself having to deal with another lawsuit stemming from an alleged incident during the taping of his VH1 reality show, She Got Game.
Back in August, a contestant on the show, Priscilla Rainey, filed a $10 million lawsuit against the rapper with claims that he sexually assaulted her on the set of the television show.
According to The Jasmine Brand, Game initially never responded to the lawsuit, but once a judge gave a default ruling in Rainey’s favorite, the “Dollar and a Dream” rapper quickly lawyered up to formally contest the suit. Though the judge found in Rainey’s favorite in the default motion, no money was awarded and now that The Game has had an attorney file documents with the court on his behalf, Rainey must now prove to the court why she is entitled to the $10 million requested in her suit.
The Game recently took to Instagram to give his side of the story and share his suspicions about Rainey’s motives for the lawsuit. Posting a photo of himself wearing boxing gloves, perhaps signaling he’s ready to fight the case, the rapper posted the following:
“She has a history of theft, fraud, prostitution arrests & a lot of other “Tranny Panty” activity in her past that makes this false claim irrelevant. Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines cause I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad ain’t gettin s–t ! Every girl on that show will tell u I never touched this chick or ever desired to be anywhere near her. She got kicked off the show & as a result she filed this lame lawsuit which was probably her intentions before the show was ever even started. She was begging for my attention the entire time we shot the show & was given the ultimate Major League Baseball CURVE ball so that upset her.”
