Sage The Gemini has held little back this week when it comes to sharing his thoughts on his failed relationship with Jordin Sparks. After news spread this month that the once beloved couple had split after ten months of dating, Sage took to Instagram this week and shared an emotional message for Sparks, begging her to take him back. Since then, rumors have been spreading about exactly why the couple split. Now, Sage has finally opened up a bit and is clearing up the rumors.
As previously reported, Sage wrote a lengthy and detailed message to Sparks, asking her to give him another chance.
“But yea this s— is crazy i just wanna tell you I’m still being a good boy just in case you come to your senses. Valentine’s Day was supposed to be a special day I wanted that to be our anniversary because it’s your grandparents’ and maybe we could’ve double dated remember? Please call me back I just want like a hug and a kiss or something. Sincerely Dominic Wynn Woods,” Sage wrote in the message.
Besides the message, Sage also posted a new song dedicated to Sparks called “I’ll Keep Loving You” on his Soundcloud page.
After he posted and then deleted the heartfelt message, fans began speculating on exactly why the couple split, which is still a mystery to the public.
According to media reports, one rumor that popped up is that Sage cheated on Sparks with his ex-fiancée, Curium Hurley. The rumor orginally started last year, when sources claimed to have leaked images of Hurley showing screenshots of text messages between her and Sage, including ones where he asked her to take him back even though he was already with Sparks. In the text messages, Hurley also allegedly claimed that she had gotten pregnant by Sage while he was with Sparks.
Despite the tabloid drama, Sparks and Sage remained together for months after until their split just a few weeks ago.
With the cheating rumors back in full force, Sage decided to hop on Instagram again and post a now-deleted message denying that he ever cheated on Sparks.
“Before I leave IG alone just wanted to clear no one cheated and I deleted the post because I hate when people get bashed everyone have a good day,” wrote Sage, along with clarifying in the caption that he isn’t deleting his IG account.
Not surprisingly, Sparks hasn’t responded on social media to Sage’s messages. But if this is anything like her split with Jason Derulo, you can expect her to spill details when she decides to do interviews again.
