Lion Babe was one of the headlining performers at Black Enterprise’s Women of Power summit. The duo, Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman performed songs from their album Begin.

Lion Babe’s soulful sound has garnered the attention of artists such as Pharrell Williams, Mark Ronson, and Childish Gambino. Hervey, the lead singer of the group, paid homage to her mother, Vanessa Williams, who was honored by Black Enterprise during the ceremony which took place at Hilton Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida.
