I think it’s time for us to join the long list of people currently heaping effusive amounts of well-wishes onto “Scandal” star Kerry Washington. The talented actor recently shared with the world that she’s expecting her second child. When considering the impact that her first child had on her life, this has to be an exciting time in the Asomugha/Washington household.
“I will say I feel really, really blessed,” she shared in interviews following her first child’s birth. “I just feel really blessed that I’m kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life.”
And while adding a second child to mix will certainly enrich the lives of both Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha, there’s a much bigger issue currently at play (well, only for true “Scandal” fans.)
Just how will Washington’s pregnancy be handled on the show this time around? Will production be delayed? (which is the move that I’m currently rooting for.) Or will the show clumsily attempt to hide Washington’s pregnancy as it did in season three? The network has yet to publicly address the matter, so in the interim, I thought it’d be best for us to revisit some of “‘Scandal’s” worst attempts to hide Washington’s baby bump.
