It appears that Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s recent split may be more than just another publicity stunt.
As previously reported, the 26-year-old rapper and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, 18, called it quits this week, just six months following their last split. While there’s been speculation that the pair went their separate ways after Tyga congratulated Blac Chyna, his ex and the mother of his 3-year-ols son, King, on her recent engagement to Jenner’s half brother, Rob Kardashian, a source tells E! News it was “a long time coming.”
Now, in a brief interview with TMZ paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport, the “Rack City” rapper got candid about reports he and Jenner have called it quits – for good.
“Did age difference play a factor in the breakup?” a photographer asked.
“Um,” Tyga responded. “Uh, I think, you know, we’re both just focusing on our lives, our individual lives right now, you know? Sometimes things don’t work out. But, you know, I love her.”
“There’ll always be love between the two of you?” the photographer asked.
“For sure,” Tyga replied.
Of course, the photographer didn’t pass up the opportunity to ask Tyga about his true feelings surrounding Chyna’s engagement to Rob.
“People, uh, grow and you know, it’s time to evolve, you know what I mean?” he said on-camera. “So everybody should have the opportunity, you know, [have] love and, you know, to live their life.”
Meanwhile, it appears Tyga isn’t ready for another man to play step daddy to his son. When asked if Rob is a good stepfather to King Cairo, Tyga completely shaded the situation, saying, “Don’t go too far.” Looks like people aren’t playing as nice as we thought.
