For the past couple of years, Stacey Dash has had a penchant for sticking her foot in her mouth when it comes to most situations that deal with civil rights issues. So it comes as no surprise that when Dash recently addressed the hot-button issue of transgender bathroom access rights, she ended up bashing transgender star Caitlyn Jenner and the rest of the transgender community.

As previously reported, people and politicians across the nation have been divided for months over whether or not to allow transgender people the right to use whatever public bathroom they feel fits their gender identity. States like Mississippi and North Carolina have banned trans access rights and President Obama was recently sued by 11 states for attempting to use Title IX as a reason to allow transgender students bathroom access rights.

Even Jenner weighed in on the matter recently when she praised Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s decision to allow bathroom access rights in his hotels and even videotaped herself using the women’s bathroom at one of his NYC hotels.

Well, according to media reports, fellow conservative Dash, who is releasing a new memoir, There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative, recently spoke about Jenner’s stance on bathroom policies regarding the trans community and she bashed the reality star and the trans community as a whole for wanting to be able to legally use bathrooms that match their gender identity.

“It’s tyranny by the minority. Why do I have to suffer because you can’t decide what you wanna be that day?” Dash said. “It’s your body! So, it’s your decision, right? We all make choices.”

Dash went on to say that the transgender rights movement has begun to “infringe upon [her] rights too much.” She then claimed that trans people shouldn’t even have the right to use public bathrooms.

“OK, then go in the bushes. I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law,” Dash said. “So that you can be comfortable with your beliefs — which means I have to change my beliefs and my rights? No.”

Again, we’re not surprised that Dash took an extremely conservative stance on the matter, but it doesn’t soften the blow of seeing a Black woman who has likely seen or experienced discrimination firsthand have absolutely no empathy for another minority community.
