Since joining “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Phaedra Parks has gained a number of non-fans and celebrity detractors who regularly hate on her online. And while that’s par for the course for reality stars, reports have revealed that one rapper took his disdain for Parks several steps too far recently when he threatened to blow up Parks’ law office over his beef with her.
According to media reports, the rapper was revealed to be Terrence Cook, who goes by the stage name of Drama. Cook had a hit “Left, Right, Left” back in 1999, which reached No. 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped propel his debut album, Causin’ Drama, to gold status in 2000.
Parks served as Cook’s manager in 2000 and eventually became his lawyer in 2003 when he got in trouble with the law over a robbery case. Parks was reportedly removed as his counsel and Cooks ended up receiving a 12-year sentence for the crime.
Cook was finally released from prison in 2015 and according to sources, after his release, he told his friends that he was going to fly down to Miami and film an episode of “RHOA” with Parks. However, Cook ended up being seriously injured in a skydiving accident and has been recovering from his injuries ever since.
The sources say that Cook blames Parks for the troubles in his life, including the demise of his career and even his skydiving accident. However, Bravo claims that they never made any agreements to film Cook for the show.
Allegedly, Cook decided to act on his beef with Parks yesterday and he reportedly showed up to what he thought was Parks’ law office in Atlanta and claimed that he had a bomb attached to his leg. Cook ended up being subdued by police, who discovered that Cook only had a book and an envelope on him.
It’s unclear what kind of charges Cook is facing now, but it’s safe to say that this is the start of a whole new set of legal problems for Cook.
