When it comes to Fetty Wap, most of the time people are either talking about his music or his ongoing troubles with his most famous baby’s mama, Masika Kalysha. However, the hip-hop hitmaker gave fans something really positive to talk about this weekend as it was revealed that he recently visited a child in the hospital who is suffering from cancer.

Fetty revealed the good deed to his fans yesterday when he posted a photo of himself and a friend sitting bedside with the young man, 17-year-old Richie Artis from Virginia. Fetty referred to the young man as “Richie Zoo” and even gifted him with his very own 1738 gold chain when he made him an honorary Zoo Gang member.

“Kept my word, Lor bro was Happy as hell ya should’ve seen his face #RichieZoo #Praying4youRich,” Fetty captioned the photo.

According to reports, Richie was previously diagnosed with brain cancer in 2002 and was successful in fighting the cancer. However, in November 2015, Richie’s cancer returned when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

A CrowdRise fundraiser was started up for the young teenager by his father, Raymond Felton, with the goal of reaching $10,000 in donations to help cover the many costs that Richie’s family has incurred for his medical needs.

“We been traveling back and forth to the hospital for nine months, five days a week. Recently Richie was hospitalize[d], he been [sic] there five week[s] fighting cancer. We could use your help Thank-you,” reads the description on the CrowdRise page.

Felton and his wife, Letrice Felton, reportedly claimed that Fetty’s visit to their son had a huge impact on Richie and that he was smiling from ear to ear because the rapper took the time to see him.

Well, we definitely commend Fetty for doing such a good deed for Richie and we hope that he wins his latest battle with cancer just like he did before.
