Diddy genius-ly highlights family and fragrance at Atlanta Macy’s launch

On Thursday, September 8, 2016, hours before the highly anticipated Atlanta leg of his Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, Sean “Puffy” Combs, aka Diddy, launched his new fragrance, Sean John, at Macy’s Lenox Square.

In May 2010, Sean John signed a deal with Macy’s to be the exclusive U.S. department store retailer for the Sean John men’s sportswear collection beginning in Holiday 2010. The Sean John products are available online at macys.com and in over 400 Macy’s stores across the country.


“It was a natural partnership for Sean John. They’ve been great partners. Our customer base loves Macy’s,” Tweedy tells rolling out in an earlier interview.

Following a short tour of the men’s section featuring his Sean John clothing collection, accompanied by his mother, Janice Combs, sons Justin and Christian Combs, and Jeff Tweedy, president of Sean John, Diddy, conducted a one-on-one interview with rolling out, one of the few pre-approved press outlets invited to cover.


Last Spring, the Sean John brand took over Macy’s six storefronts in New York, which was unprecedented for the launch of Sean John’s fourth cologne, 3 AM.
