Reality TV stars Tamar Braxton and Toya Wright once seemed like close friends but recently fans have learned that the two pals have suffered a major falling out after Braxton decided to unfollow Wright online. Naturally, Wright threw shade toward Braxton and now, not surprisingly, Braxton has responded with shade to Wright.

According to reports, the drama all started this week while Wright was promoting her new book, In My Own Words … My Reality. During a recent interview, Wright explained that she and Braxton had a falling out after Braxton unfriended her online for appearing on “The Real” after Braxton was fired from the daytime talk show.

“I mean, I will say this — I was out promoting [‘My Super Sweet 16′] and somebody reached out [to me] about going on a show and her response was they weren’t allowing any reality stars on the show — [that] was what I was told. So, I’m like ‘OK.’ I turn [on the show] next week Tiny and Shekinah [are] on there. So I’m like ‘OK, cool. It’s whatever. I’m not tripping off that.’ I did Wendy Williams,” Wright explained.

She continued, “So after that, my publicist reached out this time to get on the show and they said they never heard about me coming on the show. So it was a first time thing or whatever and I did the show not to throw shade, not to be disloyal [but] to promote my project. I don’t have a platform. Anytime I’m able to promote, of course, I’m going to take that and if you’re my friend you’re gonna be supportive of that.”

Shortly after her appearance on the show, headlines revealed that Braxton had opted to unfollow Wright online, which shocked the reality star.

“When I leave the next day, it’s like all this stuff in the media. … I’m like ‘Is this real?’ I wasn’t going on the show to take her job. One thing about me, my loyalty has never been questioned … I don’t compete with my friends. I don’t hate on my friends. I want all my friends to win. Anything you’re doing I’m going to support,” Wright said.

Well, after Wright’s interview aired, Braxton went on Instagram and posted some now-deleted subliminal shots at her former friend.

“Some of y’all work my d— nerves. I’m just trying to live my life drama and stress-free. But I can understand how most of you don’t understand my JOY. God bless you all and may your dreams come true,” Braxton wrote before posting a follow-up message.

“If you ever find yourself talking about me, make sure you finish off with ‘she doing her thing, though,’ ” she wrote.

Well, this seems like another frivolous beef but considering the level of pettiness involved, we doubt these two will ever be friends again. However, we hope they can squash this and at least act cordial toward one other.
