Actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell and her husband Josiah Bell have welcomed a baby boy.
On Tuesday evening, Nov. 15, the “Underground” star announced via social media the birth of her first child, Hunter Zion Bell, alongside a sweet mother-son snap. “So in love with our little man,” Smollett-Bell, 30, captioned the image.
Meanwhile, her musician beau proudly declared his newborn’s arrival via Instagram, writing, “He’s here…Hunter Zion Bell… @jurneebell I’m so in love!”
In case you missed it, Smollett-Bell announced that they were expecting in June, with an adorable photo via Twitter.. “He+Me+Baby= Three. So in love with this beautiful blessing God has given us. #WeArePregnant!!” the “On Our Own” regular captioned an image of the duo cradling her growing baby bump.
As previously reported, the couple tied the knot in October 2010, in a Los Angeles botanical garden, surrounded by a small group of family and close friends. Though the new mom described the wedding as “beautiful, moving and personal,” People reported at the time, she also revealed putting the wedding together was almost as much fun and rewarding as the main event.
“It was such a fun process,” the actress said. “We didn’t hire a wedding planner. Josiah and I literally decided every detail together.” As for how her life has changed since tying the knot, she continued. “It’s incredible, — My best friend is my life partner. It doesn’t get any better than that.”
