The storm of hate attacks by White children against Black children continues to remain in the news. The latest incident to receive attention comes out of Geismar, Louisiana. Jordan Jackson, 8, is a big brother who tried to defend his 4-year-old sister against a group of three White children, one of whom was 13, who were engaging in a racist assault. The White children were throwing mulch at the little girl and shouted, “You need to go back to the cotton farm.”

When Jordan asked the kids to stop harassing his little sister, he was pushed and body-slammed to the ground, causing severe injury by the unidentified 13-year-old boy. He suffered a broken arm and a concussion and now suffers from post-concussion syndrome. This condition leads to dizziness, headaches, insomnia, and other issues. The incident occurred at the Spanish Lake Primary School and school officials have stated that they are not liable for the injuries suffered by Jordan. Officials at the school reportedly informed the Jackson family that they were sorry but were not liable because the incident occurred after official school hours and also involved at least one person who was not a student of the school.

Jordan has had several emergency room visits since the incident and now the family is asking the public for help. A GoFundMe page has been setup to help cover the medical expenses the family has encountered since the attack. The family set a goal of $5K to cover expenses but so far more than $42K has been given by donors outraged over the attack. The family has stated that any money raised over the cost of his medical bills and physical rehabilitation will be donated to charity. The family is asking for continued prayers as Jordan heals from his assault.
