Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida have been in a bitter divorce battle for the past two years and fans have been wondering the entire time if the bitter pair were ever going to finalize their divorce. And even though reports recently claimed that the two were finally legally free of each other, Nida is legally firing back at Parks by filing divorce and custody papers.

According to reports, Nida filed a divorce petition in Georgia this past Thursday and also claimed in the documents that he wants joint custody of their two sons, Ayden, 6, and Dylan, 3, as well as an equitable split of their assets.

In the documents, Nida says that he and Parks separated in June 2014 and that their marriage has been “irretrievably broken” because they can no longer reside in the same home together. However, he reportedly failed to mention that the reason for their distance is because he is currently still serving an eight-year prison sentence for his part in a four-year financial fraud scheme involving bank, mail, wire fraud, and ID theft of more than 50 people.

The news of Nida’s divorce filing comes nearly two years after Parks filed for divorce from Nida and just a couple of weeks ago Parks claimed that their divorce had been finalized. However, it seems that Nida either didn’t get the memo about that or a judge hasn’t finalized their divorce just yet.

However, it’s not as though Nida has been spending his time focusing on Parks. In fact, he recently revealed via his Instagram page that he’s already moved on and is now engaged to another woman, whose identity has not yet been disclosed.

“You see that smile? That’s how she makes me feel all over! #MyQueen #NidaFitness #TheNidaTeam #FreeApollo #Goodmorning,” Nida wrote via Instagram.

Well, this sounds like a mess of a divorce and we wonder how Parks feels about Nida’s latest legal move? What do you think of it? Let us know in the comments.
