Zoe Saldana believes that Donald Trump is a victim of bullying. The actress, who starred in films such as Avatar and Colombiana, shared her thoughts on Hollywood’s treatment of Trump.
“We got cocky and became arrogant and we also became bullies,” Saldana said. “We were trying to single out a man for all these things he was doing wrong and that created empathy in a big group of people in America that felt bad for him and that are believing in his promises.”
Unfortunately, Saldana failed to speak on the bully culture that is being created by Trump. Trump has a history of being a bully and person who doesn’t always engage in the truth. Trump lied for years about President Barack Obama’s U.S. citizenship; he bragged about sexually assaulting women; he bullied a disabled reporter during his campaign; and he recently bullied Civil Rights icon John Lewis on Twitter.
Saldana was soon blasted on social media by those who ridiculed her for standing up to a man who has made it a point to be an aggressor.
I’m not mad a Zoe Saldana’s comments because I get where she’s coming from. But this colorblind kumbaya BS she believes about Trump is sad

Zoe Saldana tried to play Nina Simone. Let’s not pretend she’s in the business of reflecting reality with her words or actions.
