Alicia Keys celebrates her birthday with a little tease.
In celebration of her 36th birthday, which took place on Wednesday, Jan. 25, the “Girl On Fire” singer gave fans a peek at her birthday suit while teasing a new song on Instagram. “That’s what’s up #NewSong #NewVideoAlert#BirthdaySong! #gratitude! Feeling so grateful today!,” Keys wrote alongside a brief video featuring herself submerged in a bathtub with a snippet of her new song, “That’s What’s Up,” blasting in the background.

Meanwhile, her doting husband, Swizz Beatz, shared a beautiful black-and-white photo collage featuring his wifey in all her glory, along with an equally stunning shot of her standing on a beach draped in a red, curve-hugging halter top dress and a colorful head wrap.

Of course, Swizzy wasn’t alone in voicing his admiration for the Grammy winner. “Scandal” actress Kerry Washington joined in on the birthday celebration by sharing a photo of Key’s upcoming Allure cover story, writing, “#womancrushwedensday and a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Aquarius sister girl, the gorgeous and glorious @aliciakeys.”

Last we saw the mother of two, Egypt, 6, and Genesis, 2, she stood loud and proud as she marched alongside thousands at Saturday’s Women’s March on Washington.

“We will not allow our bodies to be owned and controlled by men in government, or men anywhere for that matter,” Keys said in an empowering poem during the event. “We will not allow our compassionate souls to get stepped on. We want the best for all Americans, no hate, no bigotry, no Muslim registry. We value education, healthcare and quality. We will continue to rise until our voices are heard, until our planet’s safety is not deferred, until our bombs stop dropping in other lands, until our dollar is the same dollar as a man’s.”
Happy belated birthday, Keys. Show her some love in the comment section below.
