Music is the portal that takes your heart, mind, and soul to a different place, whether good or bad. Music ministry is the information that someone gives to a larger audience, usually associated with religion, through music. Detroit is a city that is definitely known for its music and ministries. In Detroit, you can visit various churches or attend events where praise and worship is being sung.
“Ministers of music are individuals who lead others into worship with an open heart and mind ready to receive direction from the Lord. Though we are all our own worship leaders, there are those appointed as a worship leader of that church or group. These people choose different songs to lead and set the atmosphere. It’s all about making HIS name great and not ours. We’re not in competition with one another; we’re all just trying to bring people to the Kingdom of God,” says an anonymous worship leader in Detroit.
