Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego reveal they’ve welcomed baby number three.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, Saldana, 38, revealed via Instagram that she and husband Marco Perego, 37, recently welcomed their third child, a baby boy named Zen. The actress, who was not recently pregnant, did not give details on whether he was adopted or born via a surrogate.

“Marco and I are elated to share the news of the birth of our son Zen,” the Guardians of the Galaxy actress wrote, alongside a photo featuring her and Perego’s twin sons, Cy and Bowie, playing with their new baby brother, with their faces obscured. “We couldn’t feel more blessed with the new addition to our family. #threeboys… oh boy!”

As for his unique name, prior to the birth of her twins, Saldana revealed how the pair’s heritage plays a major role in name selection. “My husband is very Italian and I’m very Latina, so every day we have messages from our parents, ‘Oh it should be Rocco, Giovanni, Luigi, Antonio Ramon Jose.’ And you’re like, ‘Oh my god, people chill, chill,'” she shared during a guest appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show. “We’re kind of hippie we want it to be like, Lavender,” she added, laughing, “I’m joking.” So Zen, a Japanese term meaning “religious,” makes total sense.

Meanwhile, in January, Saldana, who is notoriously private about her personal life, told the entertainment news outlet that her boys keep her plenty busy at home. “There is a lot of patience we have to have and patience only comes with rest, and that’s something we don’t have a lot of,” she said of she and Perego’s parenting style.

The Star Trek Beyond actress went on to add that her sons are rather rambunctious and have become quite the little tag-teaming pair. “These freaking boys can sit on these dirty diapers for hours, and the house is stinking up and you’re like, ‘Can I change your diaper?’ [and they go], ‘Nooooooooo!’” she explained.
