At this point, President Trump’s mental stability should be questioned. Trump believes that Barack Obama is conspiring to destroy his credibility.
During an interview with Fox News’ “Fox and Friends,” Trump made a ridiculous claim while discussing the recent protests across the country. Trump was somewhat baited by a reporter who asked, “Do you believe President Obama is behind it and if he is, is that a violation of the so-called unsaid presidents’ code?”
Trump responded by saying, “No, I think he is behind it. I also think it is politics, that’s the way it is. You never know what’s exactly happening behind the scenes. You know, you’re probably right or possibly right, but you never know … I think that President Obama is behind it because his people are certainly behind it. And some of the leaks possibly come from that group, which are really serious because they are very bad in terms of national security. But I also understand that is politics. In terms of him being behind things, that’s politics. And it will probably continue.”
Trump has been known to present claims without giving facts but this latest assertion is so baseless that his mental stability should be questioned. He may believe that he’s functioning in some kind of alternate universe.
It’s insane to think that a man who just served eight years in office would seek to destroy his successor by organizing protests across the country and participating in leaks.
Trump has a tendency to blame others when things don’t go his way. But blaming Obama for being the mastermind behind protests would seem to be the words of a person who could be suffering from mental health issues.
