It’s no secret that Tremaine “Trey Songz” Neverson is known to be quite the playboy, and despite his dispute with Detroit police officers during his concert at the Joe Louis Arena in December, he continues to show the “D” mad love!
Wednesday night in Detroit, Trigga brought out loyal fans and all the lustful ladies to enjoy a pre album listening and visual session of his upcoming self-titled album Tremaine. The TV Lounge, located at 2548 Grand River Ave. in Detroit was the location, and the session was hosted by FM98 WJLB’s Dr. Detroit Radio, and filled wall to wall with excited fans and media outlets waiting to be the first in the city to witness Songz’s reality show parody titled “Tremaine The Playboy.” Fans expected for the bachelor-themed reality show to be real but instead Songz created an innovative way to release new music, which was through a series of videos of him living the life of a true playboy, battling between his heart and his lustful ways. “Tremaine The Playboy” reality show parody was directed by Songz.

The mini ‘TV series’ had the crowd of screaming ladies going wild, as he vocalized some of his favorite tracks to the crowd. Included in the mini series were his pre released singles “Nobody Else But You,” “Playboy” and “Song Goes Off.” During the viewing and listening session, guests indulged in delicious chicken kabobs, with complimentary drinks and roses for the ladies. Free posters and shirts labeled “Tremaine” were distributed after guests lined up for pictures with Songz.
Songz was accused of assaulting a Detroit police officer during his concert at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on Dec. 28. After throwing an enraged fit on stage at the concert when his mic was shut off early, Songz immediately went into beast mode. Well, now Songz is battling an aggravated assault charge and has turned down a plea deal.
Songz will be kicking off his Tremaine The Playboy tour in Detroit on May 3. Tremaine can be preordered on ITunes and is set to be released on March 24. Will you continue to support Songz despite his missteps?
