Basil Hayden’s® Rye Whiskey Thyme Julep

INGREDIENTS
2 ounces Basil Hayden’s® Rye Whiskey
1 bar spoon simple syrup
1 dash Angostura® Bitters
6 fresh thyme sprigs (one for garnish)


DIRECTIONS
1. Muddle fresh thyme in a rocks glass.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir until cold.
3. Fine strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
4. Garnish with a toasted thyme sprig.
