Def Jam celebrated the release of new albums by 2 Chainz and Vince Staples during BET Awards weekend. Held at a private mansion that featured an infinity pool and astonishing view of the city of Los Angeles, the celebration/pool party was driven by the sounds from DJ Millie.
The event also paid homage to Def Jam artists who received BET Awards nominations such as Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, Dave East, Desiigner, and August Alsina.
Other celebrity attendees included Mack Wilds, Pusha T, Jadakiss, and Bishop Don Juan to name a few.
New York-based artist Fumero, who collaborated with Dutch Masters and inspired the “Table Series” paintings, was also in attendance.
During the event attendees got a chance to receive Dutch Masters swag and take social media photos with the Dutch Masters girls.
2 Chainz latest album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, had a debut in the top 5 on the Billboard Charts and is his fourth straight album to debut in the top 10.
Vince Staples second album, Big Fish Theory, will be released on June 23. The album, which is being called a game changer, features artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Green Day.
