Errol Barnett
Errol Barnett joined CBS News as a Washington-based correspondent in June 2016 and contributes to all CBS News broadcasts and platforms including the “CBS Evening News”, “CBS This Morning” and “Face the Nation.” Before joining CBS News, Barnett anchored weekday editions of “CNN Newsroom” from its Atlanta headquarters. Prior to that, the network deployed Barnett as a general assignment correspondent to Johannesburg, South Africa and Abu Dhabi, U.A.E where he served as a midday anchor. While anchoring from the Middle East, Barnett was part of CNN’s 2011 Peabody Award winning coverage of the Arab Spring, according to CBS News.
