With label woes behind him, LA rap superstar Nipsey Hussle is starting off his 2018 delivering fresh music. The rapper and serial entrepreneur will be releasing his debut album Victory Lap on his Atlantic Records label All Money In; but for now, he’s exercising his lyrical powers on “Been Down” feat. Swizz Beatz. The weary sample, masterfully chopped up by Swizz Beatz, rides perfectly alongside Nipsey’s sneak attack rhyme pattern. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Swizz Beatz track without him letting his presence be known with egotistical ad-libs.
Victory Lap is scheduled to be released on Feb. 16, 2018.
